Hands-on Learning
A key component of the pilot project was the “hands-on” learning activities that gave teachers and supervisors opportunities to use the strategies they learned. Participants had the chance to apply theories and principles directly to the Saudi English textbooks. Active discussions took place between teachers in cooperative learning groups as they designed feasible lesson plans or most practical alternatives that could be used in the Saudi classroom.
